The foundation was started by one of my instructors in honor of his father, Samuel B. Hoskins, and his lifelong passion for aviation. Having had the opportunity to get to know him personally, I have seen firsthand how much he genuinely cares about helping people and making a difference in the lives of others.
The foundation’s mission is one we are proud to stand behind—helping support Angel Flight pilots who provide cost-free medical transportation to people in need, while also creating opportunities for disadvantaged youth to pursue their dreams of becoming pilots.
We are honored to help support a local organization built around service, opportunity, and helping others.
The Samuel B. Hoskins Foundation supports Angel Flight pilots by providing grants that help offset operational costs connected to cost-free medical flights. The foundation also provides aviation scholarships for disadvantaged youth pursuing the dream of becoming pilots.
